Medjugorje is world famous sanctuary where people from all around the world are coming to face with God, faith and to find peace in their souls and hearts. Medjugorje is located 83 km (52 miles) from Omiš.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MEĐUGORJE PHENOMENON

Since June 24, 1981 when six visionaries (Mirjana, Vicka, Marija, Ivanka, Ivan and Jakov) together with the pastor at that time Fr. Jozo Zovko, gave testimony for the first time about the Blessed Virgin Mary's appearance, Medjugorje has not ceased attracting pilgrims from all over of the world.
